The IR gives current status of the passengers PNR status. PNR stands for Passenger Name Record. You can also get seat availability enquiry, current running status, train name, route and timetable.
The Indian Railways is the Asia’s biggest and world’s 2nd largest rail network, carrying more than 30 million passengers daily.
For the convenience of the passengers, Indian Railways has started to run PNR Status (Customer Care Number: - 139 ) where passengers can check their PNR status.
